1. I value mental peace and WLB highly. Suggestions for companies with similar wlb?
2. Can I target SDE 2 ? After how much yoe can I target L4@G, CS-1@Adobe and similar levels at other companies?

And we are fully remote too.
But sometimes i think way too chill and you may feel like you are not learning much.
At your yoe, i would suggest you to go out there and join a high paying startup and learn a lot. Then you can always come back and join a big company for wlb.
I guess i have deviated from the original question. Sorry abt that.
How many hours ppl generally work per day ? Also how is oncall ?
Anyways, a few good options for high TC and good WLB - Google (obvious), Twitter (a bit back door office in India but good), LinkedIn ( best for ops), Salesforce ( genuine enterprise type), GitHub (new office in India), Atlassian.
And yes, I am from Delhi so Adobe is in the list.
The patents are mostly from creative and document cloud which is core business of Adobe. Btw, unless patent is backed by a genuine implementation and resulting in revenue stream, it’s not really worth it, in my opinion. My manager had two patents but guy couldn’t write code to print 3 variables representing 3 numbers in sorted order (I interviewed him). Do not link patents with skills or success unless you are using a patent to genuinely safeguard your approach and product against theft/plagiarism. An absolutely dumb idea can get patented, but it won’t make it to poster in a reputed academic conference.
